In 2021, the American Rescue Plan Act was a lifeline for communities across the country, and Lawrence was no exception. As we move through 2024, we're proud to share how these funds are making a real impact right here in our city. Lawrence started the year with nearly $5.7 million from the American Rescue Plan. Thanks to Mayor Whitfield and the Lawrence Common Council, we've finalized a thoughtful spending plan that focuses on what matters most: our safety and essential services.
