Yard Waste Collection
- Weekly collection of compost occurs in April and November only. Each address is permitted to place a total of 15 bags of compost at the curb for collection in those months. If you exceed the 15 bag limit, you can purchase overage tags from the DPW at 9001 E 59th St., Suite 205 for $2.00 each.
- Acceptable Yard Waste: grass clippings, leaves, shrubs, and brush trimmings (branches 2-6" inches in diameter must bundled and tied, and no longer than 4 feet in length and less than 50 pounds).
- Unacceptable Yard Waste: sod, pet waste, dead animals, dirt, rocks, root balls, oversized branches, plastics.
- All compost material must be placed in paper bags or clearly marked containers with a maximum capacity of 35 gallons and weighing less than 50 pounds.
