Public safety team hosts pastors for annual gathering

Public Safety Chaplain Mel Keaton organized the city's annual Pastors' Meet 'n Greet yesterday at the Government Center. Mayor Steve Collier, LFD Chief Dino Batalis, LPD Chief David Hofmann, Crime Watch Director Elia Sanchez James, and LPD Deputy Chief Curtis Bigsbee joined the forum to further develop positive relationships between churches from many denominations in Lawrence. Keaton said the relationships for public safety members and church groups continue to benefit residents throughout the city.
