Streets Department Prepares For Winter Snowstorms

The Lawrence Streets Department is busy preparing for potential winter snowstorms, with over 9,000 tons of salt securely stored in the City's two salt barns. Our dedicated crew is ready day or night, to treat the roads and plow to keep our community safe. 

Mayor Deborah Whitfield along with Chief of Staff Zach Brown stopped by this week to thank everyone for keeping Lawrence winter-ready!
