Farmers Market 2019: Get it Fresh at the Fort!

“Get Fresh at the Fort!” is this year's Farmers Market theme every Thursday from June 6 to October 3 at the Civic Plaza. Market Manager Amanda Wright-Jarrett said the market will take place from 4-7 p.m. at the Civic Plaza. She has plans for special events throughout the summer, including: Vintage Record Market Nights, Dog Parade, Reading Tree, Chalk Art Competitions, Hand Drumming Tent, Pick up Soccer Games, and WIC Days! Wright-Jarrett said SNAP is accepted by many produce vendors at the Fort Ben Farmers Market!.
