DPW crews fill 7,208 pot holes in first three months

April 5, 2019

Street crews have been busy repairing pot holes throughout the city according to DPW Department of Streets Head Jim Heneghan. He said his crews have completed 7,208 repairs so far. "Now that the weather has broken and is warmer, we'll be out doing our best to fill them," said Heneghan. He also said citizen reports to the website enable him to get crews assigned to repairs more quickly and he appreciates the reports. "When citizens make the report online, it expedites the process for us," he said. The dry weather with warm temperatures have been a big help to the crews, Heneghan said.
