Stormwater Improvements are Underway

Stormwater Improvements are underway in the older parts of Lawrence. Sadlier Drive and Hartman Drive are closed to thru traffic. They should reopen by July 8th. Starting July 11th, Richardt Ave will be only open for one direction between 46th and 47th street. Each direction will be closed for 30 days and access will be maintained to the fire station at all times and for emergency vehicles. These improvements above are being performed by Indianapolis Department of Public Works per the agreement reached with them when responsibility for stormwater improvements were transferred to Lawrence upon our withdrawal from the Indianapolis Stormwater District.
