Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Program

Lawrence Fire Chief Dino Batalis & Police Chief David Hofmann announced a collaboration between the Fire & Police Departments for an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) program, showcasing three UAV’s the departments are currently training with. The three UAV’s will be used during public safety emergency responses, such as weather events, Project Lifesaver, traffic crash investigations, and other events.
