LPD reveals Body Worn technology after test use

Chief David Hofmann and officers from LPD introduced the Body Worn technology at a gathering at The Garrison August 23. The City of Lawrence has signed an agreement with Body Worn to provide the body camera technology to increase safety for residents an officers alike, said Hofmann. Body Worn utilizes software systems for information and tracking and improves safety.
