A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the A Lawrence Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting!
Special shoutout to IndyGo Purple Line for providing a warming bus—definitely a lifesaver on such a chilly night!
The highlight of the evening was when Mayor Deb Whitfield, Santa, and the Grinch led the countdown to light the Christmas Tree at Lawrence Civic Plaza, alongside City of Lawrence staff, kids, and grandkids!
Kids had a blast watching the parade and enjoying some ice skating at the Winterfest Rink.
The Winterfest Rink & Hot Chocolate Chalet are open every weekend for fun on the synthetic ice! Here's what you need to know:
