Spotlight On Cathy Retmier

Starting as a customer service clerk, Cathy seized the opportunity to develop our collections division. Over the years, her dedication, expertise, and leadership led her to her current role as Business Office Manager, a position she has held since 2010.

Cathy not only leads a team of 11 skilled individuals, but she has a lot of additional responsibilities, including overseeing training, coordinating meter readings, managing billings, scheduling service work orders, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Cathy's expertise ensures the smooth functioning of our business office, touching every aspect of LU's operations.

As we celebrate Women's History Month, we recognize Cathy's outstanding contributions to Lawrence Utilities. Her hard work, dedication, and leadership represent the spirit of this month.
