Construction Begins on $1.7 Million Lee Road Trail

Exciting news for Lawrence residents and visitors!  Construction on our new pedestrian trail officially kicked off this week thanks to the $1.7 million Next Level Trails grant from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources!

The first segment will stretch along Lee Road (Lee Road Park to East 63rd St.)

The second segment along East 63rd St. (Lee Road to Winona Drive.) 

The trail will span 1.2 miles, enhancing neighborhood connectivity to Fort Harrison State Park, The Fort Golf Course, Civic Plaza, Forest Glen Elementary, Ivy Tech, and numerous local businesses in Fort Ben!
