LPD Officer Goes Above & Beyond to Assist Motorist

Officer Thorup encountered the distressed motorist and family at the Thornton’s on 7020 Pendleton Pike, where he removed the flat tire and transported one of the family members to a local tire business (they did not have a spare tire in the vehicle.) They had the flat tire replaced, and then he transported the family member back to their vehicle where Officer Thorup installed the new tire, helping them get on their way.
