Foster's Café Donates to Community Safety Day 2022
July 26, 2022
Thank you Chef Brady Foster for an excellent lunch at Foster's Café & Catering today!
Mayor Steve Collier, Chief of Staff Dave Hofmann, LPD Chief Gary Woodruff, and LFD Chief Dino Batalis enjoyed chicken wings, fries, southwest bowls, cajun shrimp grilled cheese, and more.
They thanked Chef Brady for donating the wings to the Lawrence Community Safety Day 2022 Wingin' It Competition. First responders will battle it out Saturday, August 13. The five newest members of Lawrence Police Department will race eating wings against the five newest members of the City of Lawrence Fire Department.
We invite the public to come learn about services provided throughout the Lawrence community and meet your public safety officers at this FREE event (10am-2pm at Lee Road and 59th Street!)
