LFD promotes firefighters

Three promotions within the Lawrence Fire Department have new faces filling the roles of deputy chief of administration, captain, and lieutenant, said LFD Fire Chief Dino Batalis.

            Mayor Steve Collier swore in Bob Wallace, who was promoted to Deputy Chief of Administration, Captain Steve Lizon, and Lieutenant Jeff Balak. Family members and fellow firefighters witnessed the oaths in the George Keller Public Assembly Room November 2.
