Remember and honor those women who have made a big impact in our lives.
March 17, 2023
"The first remarkable book I read was Anne Frank. To this day, I still remember how it made me feel when I read it back in school. Anne Frank was always and inspiration to me growing up because of the way she saw life. Despite everything that was going around her, she made her world the best she could, and she tried to stay positive and connected to her family and many others by writing in her journal.
My mom and my grandma are also two of the most important women in my life who have inspired me to be the best version of myself. Growing up, my mom always advocated for the respect of women from our very own house. I remember her always telling my brother that he needed to respect the women in his life and to treat them with love. My mom started two successful businesses: a pharmacy which she sold and her own company for pharma registration, which to this day is a very successful business. My mom always carries a smile and makes sure to serve those around her. My grandma was the sweetest person I have met. She shared her love with others through her cooking skills. I remember her attentiveness, attention to detail and warm smile. She was also a woman of faith which she transferred to us. I am involved at church due to her and my mom who always showed us by example, what faith can do to restore people’s lives.
Women History is so important - to remember and honor those women who have made a big impact in our lives. It is important that we do not forget all the privileges we have, thanks to those who have paved the road for us. It is important that we are inspired to do our very best in our daily lives. We should also empower others by staying active in our community. We need to remember, we are stronger as a group than by ourselves.” - Andrea Rosa
