Lateral Transfer Requirements

• Applicant must be currently employed with a career fire department.
• Must possess a valid Indiana Firefighter I/II certification.
• Must possess a valid Indiana EMT or Paramedic certification.
• Must be a current member of the 1977 Firefighters Pension Fund.

• Physical Assessment: January 25, 2025 (0800-1200) at Lawrence Central High School, 7300 E 56th St, Indianapolis, IN 46226. Enter through Door 18.
• Interviews: February 10, 2025, and February 11, 2025 (Interview time TBA)
• Notice to Candidates: February 24 & 25, 2025
• Start Date: March 10, 2025
