Water Boil Notice

The following statement can be attributed to the City of Lawrence Mayor Deb Whitfield 

Due to a water main break, the City of Lawrence Water Utility has issued a boil water order for all residents, effective immediately.

Residents should boil their water for a minimum of 5 minutes before consuming or using it to prepare food.

The boil order shall remain in effect until further notification from Lawrence Utilities.

The City is working with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) to monitor this situation.  Residents with questions should contact 317-542-0511.
