Long-serving K9 Chedo unexpectedly passed away

We’re saddened to share that one of our long-serving K9’s Chedo unexpectedly passed away as a result of a medical condition.

Please keep Chedo’s handler Sgt Adam Hazelwood and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

K9 Chedo served faithfully at Sgt Hazelwood’s side since 2016. Over Chedo’s years of service he was deployed 444 times, and was responsible for more than 354 apprehensions. Not only was he successful in the apprehension of fugitives, but he was also responsible for the recovery of narcotics and other contraband/evidence used in crimes.
