United States Marine Corp’s 245th Anniversary

Shane West proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1993-1997 with the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion as a 0313 Corporal. Stationed at Camp Pendleton, Shane had the privilege of traveling the world while serving his country.

Currently, Shane serves as a private back stepper on Engine 36 C- shift and has been working with the City of Lawrence for fifteen years.
