City expands services for customer convenience

Controller Jason Fenwick said the Department of Public Works (Suite 205), the Controller’s Office (Suite 300) and Lawrence Police Department’s (Suite 200) window at the Government Center are now equipped for credit card transactions. Requests for credit card payments prompted his office to install the credit card machines for payments. Permits, impound fees and public record request fees may now be paid by credit cards in one of the above locations, Fenwick said. Later this spring, the Parks Department at the Sterrett Center, will also be equipped to take credit card transactions.
