Lawrence Utilities Water Main Flushing

REMINDER: LAWRENCE UTILITIES WATER MAIN FLUSHING

Lawrence Utilities will conduct routine water main flushing from Monday, April 1 to Friday, May 3, 2024, during normal business hours.

During this period, some customers may notice temporary water discoloration and/or low water pressure. The color may range from light yellow to orange-red. If you experience discoloration, please run a medium stream of cold water until it clears. Avoid using hot water or washing clothes until the water returns to normal.

Main flushing is essential for maintaining our water distribution system, improving water quality, and meeting regulatory standards for disinfectant levels.
