A Lawrence Christmas Details

Join us Saturday, November 27 for A Lawrence Christmas at Lawrence Civic Plaza. Kids 12 and under will skate for FREE all day thanks to our event sponsors Cohron's Manufactured Homes and Ed Martin Automotive!
Skating will begin at 2:00pm, and the Christmas parade will start at 5pm, followed by a variety show and tree lighting hosted by Fox 59 Chief Meteorologist Brian Wilkes. After the tree lighting, there will be a FREE screening of It's A Wonderful Life down the block at Theater at the Fort!
500 FREE goodie bags have been filled with candy to hand out to the first 500 kids. FREE cookies, hot chocolate, apple cider, and coffee will be available thanks to the LFD Support Wagon and donations from the community. Oh My Spud Food Truck, Moo & Lou Frozen Treats, T-N-T Hot Dogs, and Daniel's Vineyard will be selling hot food and drinks.
New this year - a special "A Lawrence Christmas" ornament was created with a design by local artist, Layne Ewing, and it will be for sale at the skating hut for $8.
Special thanks to the Lawrence North High School Fierce Felines Dance Team, MSDLT Drum Line, and the Lawrence North High School a capella group, Voices for performing!
 
Acompáñenos a celebrar Una Navidad en Lawrence este sábado 27 de Noviembre en La Plaza Civica de Lawrence. ¡Los niños menores de 12 años patinarán GRATIS todo el día gracias a los patrocinadores de nuestro evento Cohron's Manufactured Homes y Ed Martin Automotive!
El patinaje comenzará a las 2:00 de la tarde y el desfile Navideño comenzará a las 5:00 de la tarde, seguido de un espectáculo de variedades y la iluminación del árbol Navideño presentado por el meteorólogo de Fox 59, Brian Wilkes. Después de la iluminación del árbol, habrá una proyección GRATUITA de It's A Wonderful Life al final de la cuadra en Theatre at the Fort.
Se han llenado 500 bolsitas con dulces para entregar GRATIS a los primeros 500 niños. Habrá galletas, chocolate caliente, sidra de manzana y café GRATIS disponibles gracias a LFD Support Wagon y las donaciones de la comunidad. Oh My Spud Food Truck, Moo & Lou Frozen Treats, T-N-T Hot Dogs y Daniel's Vineyard venderán comida y bebidas calientes.
Como Novedad este año: se ha creado un adorno especial "Una Navidad de Lawrence" diseñando por Layne Ewing, un artista local, y estará a la venta en la cabaña de patinaje por $ 8.
