Art to Remember opens fourth location at 59th & Lee Road
October 18, 2017
Art to Remember President Bill Boncosky thanked his family, members of the community and Art to Remember staff for taking part in the ribbon-cutting to open the new business space at 9425 E. 59th Street. Boncosky said the new space is 40 percent larger than the last locationand they will have room to continue to grow their venture. In the last three years alone, he said Art to Remember has helped thousands of schools to raise $8.2 million.
Mayor Steve Collier thanked Boncosky for choosing to stay in the City of Lawrence when they selected their new building site. Boncosky said his company's 22 years have been spent in Lawrence and they wanted to select a location that felt like home, with room to grow. He thanked the Ft. Harrison Reuse Authority (FHRA) for its lead to 59th Street. He cited restaurants, the park, golf course, and meeting spaces conveniently located to Art to Remember as contributing factors for selecting the corner of Lee Road and 59th Street. FHRA Board President Marcie Reddick and FHRA Executive Director Freddie Burris took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
