Volunteers & LFD insure Christmas assistance to families

The Lawrence Fire Department and many volunteers from the community helped ensure a merry Christmas to underprivileged families across Lawrence. Chief Dino Batalis expressed his appreciation to everyone who participated, “Thank you to all who made this day an amazing experience as we distributed toys and food staples to over 200 families.”

The Christmas Assistance program has been helping to spread holiday cheer for 28 years.
