Janette Jackson

Janette Jackson serves as Human Resources Director for the City of Lawrence. Janette is responsible for overseeing HR initiatives, recruitment, training and development, benefits, implementing policies and community relations. She serves as the point of contact for employee relations and acts as a bridge between employee and the organization. Janette has previous experience in human resources, social services, higher education, and community relations. A graduate of Lawrence Central, she earned her Bachelor’s in General Studies from Indiana University and has a MS in Human Resources Management from Argosy University.
