Procurement
Contractors and vendors that provide goods and services to the City of Lawrence go through a public bidding process to win projects. The bidding process allows the City to find products & vendors that meet City’s needs and fits within the City budget.

1. 2020 Road Resurfacing
Bids advertised- April 24th , 2020
Written Questions due- May 8th by 5:00 P.M
Response to questions – May 12th by 5:00 P.M
Bids Due – May 20th by 3:00 P.M
Sealed proposals shall be received at the City of Lawrence Department of Public Works' office located inside the Lawrence Government Center at 9001 E. 59th Street, Suite 205, Lawrence, Indiana 46216 by no later than 3:00 P.M. (local time) on May 20th, 2020. Any proposals received after 3:00 PM time shall be returned unopened. All proposals will then be publicly opened and read aloud at 3:15 PM on the May 20th, 2020 at the Public Assembly Room of the Government Center located at 9001 E. 59th Street, Suite 205, Lawrence, Indiana 46216.
Plans and Specifications shall be obtained by contacting the engineer- Shrewsberry & Associates, Suite 160 7321 Shadeland Station. Indianapolis. IN 46256.
A non-returnable fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) shall be charged for each set desired and shall be shipped via UPS if so requested for no additional fee. Plans and specifications can also be provided on CD in PDF format for twenty-five dollars ($25.00) or by e-mail in PDF format at no- charge. Please email mstjohn@shrewsusa.com to request contract documents. Prospective bidders can also call Shrewsberry & Associates at (317) 841-4799 to request plans & specifications. Checks shall be made payable to Shrewsberry & Associates
Plans and specifications shall be acquired from Shrewsberry by one of the means mentioned above to be eligible to bid on this contract.
