City of Lawrence Utilities to Flush Mains City of Lawrence Utilities will be flushing water mains in the City of Lawrence from Sunday, September 26, 2010 through Thursday, October 21, 2010. Lawrence Soldier Killed In Afghanistan Sgt. Christopher Neal Karch 23, Ft. Bragg, NC, and formerly of Indianapolis, was a 2005 graduate of Lawrence Central High School. Firecracker Fridays - Lunch on the Green - 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. In an effort to raise funds for the July 4th 2011 fireworks celebration, Chef Suzanne will be serving lunch every Friday beneath the shade trees in back of the Sterrett Center (56th & Post Rd.) Lunch $7-$10 with weekly menu posted on www.chefsuzanne.com. Leisure Club Hosting Weekly Euchre The Leisure Club will be hosting Euchre every Monday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sterrett Center, 8950 Otis Avenue. Everyone is welcome!
