INDOT 24/7 Pendleton Pike Customer Service Line
September 5, 2024

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is hard at work on the Pendleton Pike project, improving five miles of U.S. 36 and State Road 67 between I-465 and 65th Street.
Have a concern or question? With INDOT’s 24/7 customer service line, INDOT4U you can report any issues on state roads, interstates, or U.S. highways directly at https://www.in.gov/indot/indot4u/
What’s Happening?
Safety Upgrades: The project aims to enhance left-turn safety in high-traffic areas and improve overall traffic flow.
Intersection Improvements: Expect better alignment and visibility at 56th Street, plus new sidewalks for safer pedestrian access.
Why the Changes?
A recent review of crash reports showed higher-than-average crash rates in this area. These upgrades are designed to address those safety concerns and make your commute smoother.
Timeline:
Construction started this year and is expected to continue for up to two years.
