LFD Receives New Ambulance

The City of Lawrence Fire Department received delivery of a new ambulance equipped with a powered cot that raises and lowers at the touch of a button. This battery-powered hydraulic system is safer for both the patient and the paramedics because it virtually eliminates the risk of lift injuries.
